Four years after its launch, Higher Learning Technologies of Coralville has sharpened the process of mobile studying for critical exams.
"I was climbing Mt. Kilamanjaro and I saw that everyone there had smartphones and it made me realize that learning through these devices were much more than just learning through dental school or here in Eastern Iowa," said Alec Whitters.
The U.S. Small Business Administration and America's SBDC Iowa at the University of Iowa are hosting a free financing workshop for existing and start-up businesses from 9:30-11 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Bioventures Center, 2500 Crosspark Road, Coralville.
This free 90-minute workshop gives an overview of the financing programs and services available from the SBA and its resource partners to help entrepreneurs start and grow a small business.
